Dedicated to the memory of Ross Barnes

Dear family and friends,

We are kindly asking, that instead of buying flowers, anyone who so wishes would make a donation to raise money for Little Harbour – a place very close to our family’s heart.

Little Harbour children’s hospice is a home-from-home.  A special place where each family member can find time and space to feel normal and do the things they enjoy as a family, not overwhelmingly as a carer.

Little Harbour's Grounds
Little Harbour benefits from being set within the countryside with views across to St Austell. Children and families can all enjoy time in the gardens together whether it's relaxing with the calming sounds of the water in the Ebb and Flow Garden, enjoying looking out for wildlife in Robin's Song wildlife garden or all of the sensory experiences in Mermaids Cove Sensory Garden.
With accessible swings, picnic tables and pathways as well as plenty of space for children to play, the garden at Little Harbour is always a popular place to be especially when the sun is shining.

Ross’s intentions
Whilst walking through the grounds during a recent visit, Ross spoke of what a peaceful sanctuary the sensory garden had been during a difficult time. As we walked, he talked of plans to raise money in the future to help with restoration and the upkeep of some of the sensory elements in this very special place. We feel raising money for this incredible charity would be very fitting and help see Ross’s wishes through.
